Due to overwhelming demand, the Clawson Lions Club will host its 27th "Down on Main Street" Charity Car Show on Saturday, August 9, 2025 -- one week before the world famous Woodward "Dream Cruise." Acres of chrome, blazing paint jobs and roaring exhausts will dazzle your eyes and rattle your brain as the "Motown Monsters" take over downtown Clawson, Michigan again.

We expect more than 7,000 car owners and visitors to show up and drool over 400+ entries ranging from antiques to street rods, muscle cars, trucks, boats, choppers, antique campers and bicycles. The Show will stretch for a half mile from 14 Mile south on Main Street to the City limits. Admission to see the spectacle is absolutely FREE and open to the public. And, while you're taking in the sights, enjoy some sweet treats and sweet deals offered by the local shops and street vendors. "Where's Clawson?" you ask. Here's a map.

The "Down on Main Street" Car Show is the centerpiece of the Clawson Lions Club's yearlong fundraising efforts to benefit local charities. We'll be selling T-shirts and Car Show posters at our bright yellow tent. As always, all proceeds from the Show will go to Leader Dogs for the Blind, Eversight Michigan, Beaumont Silent Children, the Penrickton Center for Blind Children in Taylor and other charities and projects throughout the year.
